A Guide To Getting Better Online Reviews

Know The Secret To Great Timing:

Have you ever heard that phrase, “strike while the iron is hot”? It pertains especially to the art of asking for reviews. Do not be afraid to ask your customers to give you a review, especially if you know that they had a great experience while working with your company.

Most customers will happily write glowing reviews about vendors and companies that they’ve grown to trust. The key is to get them right in that sweet spot after they’ve had and enjoyed your service.

This is where timing comes in. Don’t give your valued clients the chance to forget how awesome your service was. If they’re shopping in-store, ask them to leave a review before they leave.

If this was an online sale, or a service they just enlisted, give them some time before sending them an email to remind to review your business.

Of course, you do not want to bug people too much for fear that they might change their mind, but sending a follow up note about what a pleasure it was to do business with them- including a small request for a review- will never go wrong.

One caveat; wait too long and you will risk the customer forgetting how great your services were. Make sure you interact with them soon after the purchase, and you will have the best chance of getting a great review.
