Mozilla Firefox, or simplyFirefox, is afree and open-source web browserdeveloped by theMozilla Foundationand its subsidiary, theMozilla Corporation. It uses theGeckorendering engineto display web pages, which implements current and anticipated web standards. Firefox is available forWindows 10or later versions ofWindows,macOS, andLinux. Its unofficial ports are available for variousUnixandUnix-likeoperating systems, includingFreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, and otheroperating systems, such asReactOS. Firefox is also available forAndroidandiOS. However, as with all other iOS web browsers, the iOS version uses theWebKitlayout engine instead of Gecko due to platform requirements. An optimized version is also available on theAmazon Fire TVas one of the two main browsers available withAmazon’s Silk Browser.
